Form builder field types

When building any of the different types of forms within Natural HR, there are 21 different types of fields which can be created. Each of the different field types define how the question is asked and how the answers will received. 

Descriptions of field types:

  1. Date Field - A date picker field 
  2. Text area - A multi-line text box (like Field description)
  3. Text box - A standard single line text box (like Field display label)
  4. File Upload – A field which will allow attachments to be uploaded to this form.
  5. Checkboxes - A multiple choice question which can be used to select more than one answer. 
  6. Radio boxes - A list of custom choices where only one can be chosen
  7. Select dropdown - A dropdown list populated with custom values (like Field type)
  8. Heading - Text which can be used as a heading for your forms
  9. Horizontal Spacer - A horizontal dividing line which can be used to separate different sections of a form
  10. Text - Any text which you wish to appear on the form like headings or additional instructions
  11. 9 box grid Performance - A dropdown list populated with Low, Moderate and High which is used to populate the performance element of the  9 box grid 
  12. 9 box grid Potential - A dropdown list populated with Low, Moderate and High which is used to populate the potential element of the  9 box grid 
  13. Section Start - Separate your form into sections (defines the start of the section)
  14. Section End - Separate your form into sections (defines the end of the section)
  15. Clone Start – Separate a selection of fields between clone start and end which can be duplicated by the user completing the form.
  16. Clone End - Separate a selection of fields between clone start and end which can be duplicated by the user completing the form.
  17. 1 to 5 - A dropdown list pre-populated with numbers 1 to 5
  18. 1 to 10 - A dropdown list pre-populated with numbers 1 to 10
  19. Score 1 to 10 - A dropdown list populated with numbers 1 to 10, used specifically for scoring purposes
  20. Score 1 to 5 - A dropdown list populated with numbers 1 to 5 used specifically for scoring purposes.
  21. Happiness Scale – Input a graphic scale of three faces depicting the happiness rating of the user completing the form.
  22. Yes and No - A dropdown list pre-populated with Yes and No
  23. Employee list - A dynamic dropdown list of all of your current, active employees
  24. Manager list - A dynamic dropdown list of all of your current, active mangers
  25. Job roles list - A list populated from the Job roles page within the HR menu
  26. Job status list - A list populated from the Job status page within the HR menu
  27. Departments list - A list populated from the Departments page within the HR menu
  28. Sites list - A list populated from the Sites page within the HR menu
  29. Cost centres list - A list populated from the Cost centres page within the HR menu
  30. Business units list - A list populated from the Business units page within the HR menu
  31. Job grades list - A list populated from the Job grades page within the HR menu
  32. Completed - A yes or no field which marks whether or not the form has been completed overall. Selecting yes in this field will lock down the form and mark it as complete indefinitely. 
  33. Employee Completed - A yes or no field which marks whether or not an employee has completed this specific form. 
  34. Manager Completed – A yes or no field which marks whether or not the employee’s line manager has completed this specific form.
